Universal Security is looking for more staff and we currently have the following vacancies at our Kew Office.

Senior Security Technician

We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of the electronic security landscape. We specialise in all types of Access Control, CCTV, Alarm systems and associated integrated technologies. The position demands a reliable, knowledgeable and well organised person, who exhibits professionalism in their ability to communicate and problem solve across all aspects of installation, maintenance and service

As a potential candidate, you must have:

  • Current Victorian Installer/Adviser Security Licence
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Current Open Cabling Licence
  • Existing experience within the industry

You should have experience with

  • Challenger/Tecom, Concept/Integriti and/or Protégé/ICT ACS systems
  • CCTV
  • Major security alarm panels
  • Programming and IT experience

. . . and possess and be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

  • excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • excellent leadership and time management skills
  • willingness to work across residential, commercial & government sectors
  • a keen desire to learn

The position is fulltime, with remuneration dependent upon experience.

Scheduler

We are looking for someone with a logical turn of mind and mature attitude to take responsibility for scheduling jobs for our technicians.

This includes keeping the techs on the road, liaising with clients and the ongoing upkeep of the client database amongst other duties.

Ours is an industry dealing with electronic and IT equipment, servicing and installation. If you have some technical knowledge, it would be of assistance to both you and the company.

As a potential candidate, you should possess and be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

  • excellent time management skills
  • great attention to detail
  • a keen desire to learn
